Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: April 27, 2026

Our Commitment

R&R Contractors and Stonegate Web Designs are committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to learn about R&R Contractors' services and contact us regardless of ability or technology.

Conformance Status

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.

"Conformance" means full compliance with the standard. "Partially conformant" means most of the content meets the standard. We currently consider this site to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we are continuously working to improve.

Accessibility Features Implemented

  • Semantic HTML structure (proper headings, landmarks, lists)
  • Descriptive alt text on images (where photos have been added)
  • Sufficient color contrast for body text against backgrounds
  • Keyboard-navigable links and buttons
  • Responsive layout that adapts to mobile devices and zoom levels
  • Clear, readable typography
  • Descriptive link text (no "click here")
  • Skip-to-content support where applicable

Known Limitations

Some areas of the site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We are actively working on:

  • Replacing template placeholder images with real photos that include descriptive alt text
  • Reviewing all forms for clear labels and error messages
  • Ongoing audits as new content is added

Assistive Technologies Supported

This site is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers and assistive technologies, including:

  • Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
  • Browser zoom up to 200%
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Speech recognition tools
